Step 1.
Start by drawing a square frame. This will be the border for your pattern. All the design will go inside this square.
Step 2.
Draw two small X shapes (crosses) in the center of your square. Look carefully at the grid to see where they should go – they’re placed side by side with some space between them.
Step 3.
Now add V-shapes (they look like little checkmarks or half-crosses) at the top and bottom of your square. These line up with the crosses you just drew.
Step 4.
Continue adding more X crosses and V-shapes throughout the whole square. Follow the pattern you started – crosses in the middle areas and V-shapes along the edges. Make sure they’re evenly spaced using the grid as your guide.
Step 5.
Now comes the fun part! Draw crystal or star shapes that connect the crosses together. Each crystal has pointed petals radiating from the center, like a fancy snowflake.
Step 6.
Draw small squares that appear to hide behind the crystals. These squares connect the crystals and add depth to your pattern.
Step 7.
Add horizontal lines connecting the shapes together. These lines help create the interlocking effect.
Step 8.
Continue adding more horizontal lines to complete the connections between all the elements. Your pattern should start looking like a woven fabric.
Step 9.
This is how your finished Starrix pattern should look! All the elements work together to create a beautiful, complex design that repeats perfectly.
Step 10.
Congratulations! Your Starrix pattern is complete! You’ve created a beautiful geometric design.
